Did you know?...

-A cow has 4 stomachs

28.bs corn silage, 12.6 lbs alfalfa hay, 8.41 lbs barley, 4.33 lbs what bran, 3 lbs beet pulp, 5.5 lbs cottonseed, .75 lb fat, .12 lb salt, .5 lb minerals and vitamins and 255 (30 gallons) water.
-Cows are not indigenous to America. Columbus brought some with him on his second voyage, It became a law that each ship had to have one cow for every 5 people.
-A cow spends 6 hours eating, and 8 hours chewing cud each day
-A 1000 pound cow produces 10 tons of manure each year
-A cow can live 25 years
-Cows see color
-A cow stands up and sits down about 14 times per day
-The city of Boston was laid out by cow paths
- Cows can detect oders 5 miles away
-There are about 11 million cows in America
-A cow produces nearly 200,000 glasses of milk in her lifetime
-A cow can't give milk until she has had a calf
-There are appoximately 350 "squirts" in a gallon of milk.

Her name was Bessie, it didn't take long, I kinda cheated!! (I looked up the answers in a book)!!! LOL...miss you!
