5 months already?

WOW! I know people say "enjoy it while it lasts," and "it goes so fast," but I guess it didn't really hit me how true those statements really are! My sweet little newborn is no longer a newborn! He is going to be FIVE months old tomorrow! And believe me, the time has certainly flown by!

New this month, Jace can now roll over, although not too interested in it all the time. He is over 16 pounds already, which makes for some heavy lifting when he is in the car seat! He is also talking to us all the time in his own sweet little language! He smiles when one of us comes into the room, and reaches for us when we come close to him. He laughs at almost everything, especially his daddy! I can't even believe how much he is looking like his daddy more and more every day!

This is such a fun age, I love watching him develop his own little personality, and from what I can tell so far, he is very polite with a bit of temper when his elephant makes him mad! I love watching him play with his soft blocks and stuffed animals. EVERYTHING goes in the mouth, even the feet, or someone elses fingers!

He has been sleeping well through the night, but now I actually have to go wake him up some mornings! We will put him down at about 8pm and not hear a peep from him until about 6:30 in the morning! Lucky us! We have truly been blessed with such a happy, healthy, no fuss baby! Maybe we should stop with this one, we may not get so lucky next time around!
