A Day on the High Seas, and Formal Night #1

Finally, a day of rest for us! We were able to sleep in, and have a nice lazy morning! It was well needed! We met for breakfast at Horizons court at 9:00am, then Jeremy and I had a pre-meeting with the Maitre D'Hotel for our chefs table evening (more on that to come).

After the meeting, we caught up with mom and dad to watch the martini demonstration in the atrium. Dad was volunteered to make the Milky Way martini, but gave it to mom and I to share!

By about noon, we haded to the Horizon Court buffet once again for a light lunch, before heading back to our staterooms to relax. We sat on our balcony and enjoyed the nice sea breeze while watching the water.

In the afternoon, mom and I attended a crafting class, while Jeremy and dad played mini golf. We all met up again at 3:00pm in the princess theater for bingo. We didn't win, but we had fun trying!

After wandering around the ship, we went back to our staterooms to get ready for our first formal night on board. By 7:00pm, we met in the Wheelhouse bar for pre-dinner cocktails.

At about 7:30pm, we stood around the atrium and watched the introduction of the Captain, Officers, Maitre D'Hotel, and Executive Chef.

After the introductions, we headed into the Bordeaux Dining room to enjoy our first formal dinner onboard the Island Princess.

You won't want to miss out on tomorrows post! My new favorite place in the world! Mykonos, Greece- and Petros, the pink pelican!
